Daylight Savings Time Lied and People Died

Just when the drive to work was not extrutiating because the sun was not directly on the horizon, the government messes with time and voila, there is the sun sitting on the horizon blinding millions of workers for another month or so. Statistics? Oh I don't know, lets ascribe 1000 deaths and 10,000 injuries and several billion dollars in damages.

Not to mention the tremendous cost of energy as certain places in the highway slow to a crawl once again. Site some data, you say? Why? In a day when the political correctness picks and chooses and makes up it statistics (I won't mention names, Al, so don't worry). The people that decided that DST saves energy I am sure made up the stats just as badly as I am only they may have taken the time to find a few others that agreed with there sentiments.

But I am sure they did not do the obvious. You know, the unbiased thing: measure actual energy consumption in places where DST is done and where it is not.
